Sir George Savile, 8th Baronet(1726-1784) M.P. Supporter of Rockingham but declined office on principle.

Edmund Burke (1729-1797) Irish statesman, author and philosopher. M.P. and private secretary to Rockingham, 1765; Paymaster of the Forces, 1782 and 1783.
Author of the epitaph inscribed on the plinth of Rockingham's statue in the Mausoleum.
