The houses and bungalows of Admiral's Crest are but a few yards from Keppel's Column and restrict the view from the south. It is easier to use distance when photographing from the west, north and east, provided that the angle of the sun is taken into account. Bear in mind when wandering around the field that it is a dog-exercise area. Only the western side of the column has six windows; the other three sides each have five. The lowest four windows are blocked off to prevent access. | ||||
