The first clear view of the folly is of the north-eastern wall, 42 feet wide at its base and rising to the iron railed platform 85 feet high. From this angle, the 15 foot high octagonal cupola is just visible, as are two of the three stone pedestals. The wall has two of the five windows which provide light to the internal staircase. | ||||
