A 47 year old Melbourne man was arrested when caught running naked down a street. He was released after police had verified his story that he was fleeing from the mortuary where he had just been pronounced dead. Not released was Albert Torres who broke into a shop, robbed it then called the police. When asked why, Albert replied that he was sick of his nagging wife and wanted some peace and quiet. Also not released, for 3 years, was the hairdresser to Catherine the Great. She merely wanted to prevent anyone else knowing about her dandruff. An adventurous flame-tailed guppy with the unlikely name of Fred, did escape. It jumped out of its aquarium into a dog's water bowl where it survived for several hours before being returned to its tank. |
