A Yorkshire Buddha
A Yorkshire Buddha did appear,
Floating on a lotus;
He called us all to gather near,
And this is what he taught us...
All things are not as they would seem,
This world is but illusion;
The life you live is but a dream:
A sensory confusion.
Inherent meaning ever spins,
Loose threads with which to flay us;
No rhyme nor reason underpins,
This whipping web of chaos.
Be still... and know that I am I,
And thou art that, by Gum!
What's real is less than meets the eye:
Om Mani Padme Hum.
